SIX TAYLOR MADE YOGA CLASSES FOR PREGNANCY . Yoga experience is not required to take these classes.
Every class combines a routine of a short meditation, yoga breathing, yoga postures, and relaxation.
You are welcome to attend the six classes. You are also welcome to enroll in any one prefer class.
1 .- Pelvic Floor Class
Pelvic floor class includes exercising the pelvic floor muscles for strength and flexibility.
This class also explores exercising the pelvic floor in synchronicity with the breath. This is important to avoid creating internal pressure in your abdomen.
Pelvic floor exercises will prevent incontinence, which can be generated by the weight of the baby stressing the muscles. Pelvic floor exercises stimulate blood flow keeping the muscles healthy and elastic, reducing the chances of tearing during birth. A healthy pelvic floor will recover easier after birth. Mostly the risk of organ prolapse and hemorrhoids is reduced by exercising the pelvic floor muscles.
2.- Breathing Class
In this class, you will learn: yoga diaphragmatic breath, releasing breath, relaxing breath, and energizing breath.
Breathing is the primary source of life. Making the most of each breath is fundamental to keep your pregnant body vibrant.
3.- Core Strength Class
This class explores yoga poses and breathing that will keep your core muscles active and healthy during pregnancy.
Active core muscles support your lower back preventing pain and discomfort. Healthy core muscles can also prevent diastasis recti (abdominal muscles separation) during pregnancy.
4.- Relaxation Class
Your birthing experience will be easier if you can relax and let your body work its miracle.
The relaxation class includes how to position and support your pregnant body for deep relaxation (Savasana).
This class explores breathing and visualization to rest the body, to calm the mind and promote restful sleep. Relaxation practice becomes essential as the birth of your baby approaches.
5.- Meditation Class
Your state of mind has a great impact on the way you experience the birth of your child.
During this session, you will learn to dispel fear from your mind and to bond with your baby.
The class also includes mediation to clear the mind. A clear mind is very useful at the time of making choices for your birthing process.
6.- Yoga and Breast Feeding Class
This class focus on yoga practices that will help you to prepare for breastfeeding your baby.
There are physical, mental, and emotional challenges that arise when you are establishing a breastfeeding routine. Yoga can help with postures, stretches, meditation in the form breathing, and of visualizations.
Start: After the 13th week of pregnancy.
Class Duration: 60 minutes each. Private one on one.
Day and Time : By appointment.
Fee: $25 per each 60 min session. Pay as you go.
